Materials:

- Origami paper or thin coloured cardstock (we used Anko double-sided Origami paper)

- Silhouette or Cricut cutting machines or scissors

- Glue

- String or ribbon

Instructions:

1) Choose your coloured paper. We used Anko double-sided origami paper.  Cut out the egg template pieces in the size of your choosing. We cut 10 eggs rounds in 2 colours. 20 eggs total. If your using a cutting machine be sure to use a low-tack mat so that the paper doesn't get stuck to the mat.

2) Once all the egg shapes are cut fold them all in half like a taco :) Because we used double-sided coloured paper we folded half the egg rounds in one colour on the outside and the other half with the alternating colour on the outside. Once you're done folding, open up each shape and apply a thin line of glue horizontally in the center. Do this for all the egg rounds. (See video)

3) Once dry apply two thin lines of glue near the top and bottom of the outside of the round (See video). Next begin layering the folded egg shapes on top of one another alternating the colours each time.

4) Once dry you can open up your egg to see the honeycomb in action! At this point you can add string in the middle if you wish to hang the eggs. Add glue to the ends pieces and hold together until dry. Viola! You're done, and ready to set your Easter scene.
